For my second drift I decided to explore the downtown area of Milwaukee, Wisconsin at night. I chose this area because it seemed like it would produce the best results, taking into account my predetermined rules for capturing images. The rules I used for capturing images were very effective in producing interesting content. I chose to only take still and moving imagery of lights, objects/reflections seen in windows, and hard surfaces.
For my drift strategy, I started at the corner of Wisconsin Av. and Broadway Av. I started here only because it was close to where I got off the bus. First, I headed north on Broadway, then took a right at the very next street, then a left at the very next, then a right, and a left, and so on until I filled my memory card. This simple strategy of alternating between right and left turns worked well for me and gave me some very interesting results.
